Position Overview:

Famalco is a dynamic and diverse group of companies with a mission to create value, trust, and loyalty with their customers. The company operates in various industries, showcasing a wide range of expertise and services. Famalco, is currently seeking a skilled Content Writer to join their team. The role involves crafting engaging and informative content related to different industries managed by Famalco Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Creation:
    • Produce high-quality and engaging content for a variety of platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, and marketing collateral.
    • Create compelling and informative articles, blog posts, press releases, and product descriptions.
  2. Research:
    • Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics to develop a deep understanding of our target audience and market trends and produce original and insightful content
    • Stay updated on industry news and incorporate relevant information into content.
  3. Editing and Proofreading:
    • Review and edit content to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
    • Conduct thorough proofreading to eliminate errors and enhance the overall quality of content.
  4. Content Strategy:
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute content strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
    • Contribute to the planning and development of content calendars. Generate creative ideas for new content types and formats that resonate with target audience.
    • Organize writing schedules to meet deadlines and ensure timely content publication online and in print.
  5. SEO Optimization:
    • Implement SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines and improve organic visibility.
    • Utilize keywords effectively to enhance content discoverability.
  6. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product teams, to ensure content aligns with overall brand messaging and objectives.
  7. Feedback Integration:
    • Gather feedback from stakeholders and incorporate it into content revisions for continuous improvement.


  • Possess excellent writing skills, to create engaging and error-free content.
  • Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio.
  • Proficiency in both English and Maltese language in addition to strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree, in English, communication, journalism, or related field is considered an asset.
