Overview
Scope of the Role:
Fritz Energy & Engineering Ltd forms part of Famalco, a diversified and dynamic organization that is currently seeking to recruit the services of an Elevators & Escalators Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate must have strong business acumen with the objective to increase the company’s market share and revenue. This position requires a strong mechanical and electrical background with knowledge of the industry having direct reporting to General Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for the company’s elevators and escalators products and services, including the setting up of a ‘Preventive Maintenance’ section to serve new and existing clients to service and maintain their elevators and escalators to the highest standards;
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, such as architects, engineers, and general contractors;
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to increase market share and revenue;
- Collaborating with the design and engineering teams to ensure that products meet customer requirements;
- Negotiating contracts and pricing with clients;
- Staying up to date with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance;
- Representing the company at any events or fairs as the need arises;
- Issuing of monthly reporting with KPIs and objectives reached.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or a Higher Diploma, in business engineering or a related field;
- Strong understanding of the elevators and escalators industry;
- Proven experience and sales track record in the industry;
- Strong organizational and communication skills;
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders;
- Knowledge of marketing and negotiation skills will be considered an asset;
- Possess a clean police conduct;
- Clean driving license.
