Scope of the Role:
F3 Advisory Limited forms part of Famalco, a diversified and dynamic organisation. It is currently seeking to recruit a Senior Insurance Executive to assist with the group’s insurance requirements for both Underwriting and Claims.
This position requires is a senior-level professional responsible for overseeing various aspects of an insurance company’s operations, strategies, and business development. This role is vital to ensure the company’s growth, profitability, and adherence to industry regulations. The Senior Insurance and Claims Office will be the liaison with insurance carriers, brokers, agencies, or related financial institutions.
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve company’s insurance business goals.
- Analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Drive innovation in insurance products, services, and processes.
- Business Development:
- Build and maintain relationships with key personnel, brokers, and partners.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and coverage with brokers and partners.
- Ensure that new business ventures and projects’ risks are covered by adequate policies
- Risk Assessment and Underwriting:
- Oversee the underwriting process to assess risks and determine appropriate coverage and pricing.
- Ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Review complex or high-value insurance applications and claims.
- Claims Management:
- Monitor and manage the claims process, ensuring timely and accurate settlement of claims.
- Compliance and Regulation:
- Ensure the company’s insurance operations are in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and present regular reports on key performance metrics to senior management.
- Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
