Overview

Purpose:
This role’s responsibilities will include maintaining a clean and professional showroom environment, supporting the sales team, managing the presentation of vehicles, and assisting with inventory control—including ordering and monitoring parts and accessories stock levels. The ideal candidate is proactive, customer-oriented, and detail-focused with an interest in the automotive or motorcycle industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement & Sales
● Welcome and assist customers visiting the showroom in a professional and friendly manner.
● Understand customer needs and recommend suitable vehicles or motorcycles.
● Explain specifications, features, performance, safety, and warranty details of products.
● Conduct product demonstrations and arrange test drives when required.
● Prepare and process quotations, pro forma invoices, and sales contracts.
● Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Inventory, Warranty & Parts Management
● Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring accurate stock records.
● Monitor stock levels and generate purchase orders to maintain optimum inventory.
● Receive, inspect, and log incoming parts deliveries.
● Input warranty claims in manufacturer’s systems.
● Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of parts and accessories.
● Prepare periodic stock reports and assist in audits.
Administration:
● Maintain customer records, supplier files, and showroom documents.
● Assist in scheduling service appointments and coordinating with the workshop team.
● Handle basic office duties such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
● Support management in day-to-day operational tasks as required.
Requirements:
● Prior experience in a car/motorcycle showroom, dealership, or spare parts department is an advantage.
● Valid driver’s license (Category A and Category B)
● Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories desirable.
● Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
● Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and inventory management software.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Attributes:
● Customer-first attitude with strong service orientation.
● Attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock records.
● Understanding of showroom sales and after-sales processes.
