Overview
Scope of the Role:
Faceworks Limited forms part of Famalco, a diversified and dynamic organisation. It is currently seeking to recruit Truck Drivers to assist in the transport of inert waste material, aggregate, asphalt, and other materials and/or equipment to various job site locations. The selected candidate will also work in yard areas to stockpile and move materials as needed.
This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of equipment/trucks. Work will be performed per supervisors’ instruction.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate company trucks safely and responsibly.
- Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from construction sites.
- Ensure loads are secured properly before transport.
- Follow delivery schedules and assigned routes.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials when required.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, health & safety standards, and company policies.
Requirements
- Valid truck driving license
- Previous experience driving heavy or commercial vehicles preferred.
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the construction industry.
- Forklift or machinery operation experience is an asset.
